Lake Fairways TOPS had an amazing run this summer, 14 consecutive weeks with weight loss. The participation from the group and the diversity of the programs and teaching have been amazing. We just completed our Jeopardy Game challenge and had election of our Leadership. The only change was Judy Carson taking over as Co-Leader for Bobbie Blackburn. Thank you so much Bobbi for the work you did and still look forward to you helping us as Judy learns the role. When I look back, at the goals we set for ourselves as individuals the last few months, how Bobbi has gotten her KOP’s status back, and one has just reached her goal weight for the first. With all the new members that have joined us along the way. How as a team in June we had combined for 1.48 million steps in a month.

At TOPS we would like to let the community know that we meet on Thursday morning at the Lake Fairways Club. We have several ladies and now 2 men that are part of the group. We meet from 9:00am-9:45am for weigh-in, then 10:00am to 10:45am for a meeting where we celebrate people that lose, encourage those that did not, give out prizes for contests, pray for healing for others, a little exercise, and finally we have a program for health or foods which help us keep going. If you are interested in losing some weight, come join us, there is no pressure and no requirement for you to follow a way of losing weight. We all struggle with losing and keeping the weight off and doing it together helps. Come out and see us or talk with any member for more details.
