Green Valley

My name is Sandra Duke residing on Green Valley Court 25-F since July 1, 2023.  My husband and I lost our home at Siesta Bay, Fort Myers during the hurricane.  We spent 9 months in Jamaica Bay and then made the move to Lake Fairways.  A good decision for us.  A fair number of residents from Siesta Bay have relocated here as well.

We have been residents of Florida for 7 years, moving down from Massachusetts. I worked in Boston for a real estate company as an executive assistant to a team of commercial real estate brokers for 21 years.  After coming to Fort Myers at the end of 2016 I took a job as a volunteer at a nursing/rehab facility associated with Health Park Hospital, a retail sales clerk at a clothing store, then a position in the kitchen at Siesta Bay for 5 seasons.  I also was on the HOA Board at Siesta Bay as Secretary for four years.  Since coming to Lake Fairways, I have volunteered at Bingo on Friday nights here in the clubhouse and started a volunteer position at the Littleton Elementary School in the Library.

I have enjoyed my time here in Lake Fairways and hope to get more involved in the goings-on here in the Park.

My name is Steve Hageman and my wife, Joyce, and I purchased our home in Lake Fairways in August 2023 and we are permanent residents. I am a father and grandfather. We have been coming to Lake Fairways ever since it opened. My in-laws were one of the original owners here and Joyce’s father was the first HOA President. I am a member of the Men’s Club and actively help out at their events. I am also one of Eddie Flynn’s helpers working in the kitchen during bingo, Taco Tuesday and other events he has sponsored.

I have a background in accounting, finance and administration. I worked many years as Controller or Chief Financial Officer for three companies. In February 2015, I retired as Director of Finance at Spartan Motors, Inc. in Charlotte, Michigan. During my 40 year career I negotiated bank loans, union contracts and all types of insurance contracts. I was a consultant for Spartan until Covid began in March 2020. I was on the Board of Directors for three companies and served on the Boards for the Marshall Public Schools Athletic Boosters, Marshall Firefighter Association, Marshall Area Firefighters Ambulance Authority and the Finance Council for St. Mary’s Church in Marshall Michigan. In addition to my professional career, I was a part-paid firefighter for 34 years for the city of Marshall Michigan. 

I have always been actively involved volunteering in the communities where we have resided and I would like to continue serving the people of Lake Fairways. I would be very appreciative of your support.

Debbie and I David Gregson have lived in Lake Fairways for over two years now as full-time residents. For most of my career, whether it be military or civilian life I have been a manager solving many diverse problems. I am also the LF CERT team leader where in the last year we have taken the team from weak to be a strong team to aid residents in time of need.

I believe with my background I would be a huge asset to the HOA board and am willing to devote the time necessary to make Lake Fairways a better place to live.

My name is Dave Shultz (AKA The Vampire, Dracula). I have served as a Co-Coordinator for Lee

Health during the past 10 Lake Fairways Blood Drives. I am formerly from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

I worked at the Magnavox Company for 35 years, retiring as the Manager of Manufacturing.

During my time there, I was Chairman of the Foreman Club, and later a Director of the

Managers Club. I was elected to the Magnavox Credit Union and served on their Board of

Directors for 30 years, and as Board President for three years.

While at Magnavox, I attended Purdue University for 30 credit hours in Management, and also

completed a Management Program at Penn State University.

I have been in Lake Fairways for 40 years, and own two homes. I currently live on Culdesac 43

and serve as the Court Captain. I played LF softball for 23 years and was social coordinator for

several years. I played tennis and have been a Trustee, VP, and President of the LF Tennis

Association. Also during my time in LF I was on the BIG 10 Dance committee for 15 years,

serving as chairman for seven years.

I am seeking your vote to serve on the Lake Fairways HOA Board of Directors. My past work

experience and my long term engagement in this community demonstrates my commitment to

serving our community. I hope it will also earn your trust.
