The mission of the Entertainment Committee is limited to planning,
organizing, and implementing a series of entertainment events.
These are intended to provide the best entertainment available
commensurate with community support and financial resources.

Our first event of the season will be the annual Halloween dance on October 28th. It’s time for all the creative residents to start putting together their costumes.
The price is $20 per person. There will be cash prizes for the best costumes. Beer wine and soda are provided, and music by Tammy Truitt. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday November 11th at 4:00 pm to Lake Fairways residents. After that date they will be available prior to Saturday coffee.
November 11th we will have the Entertainment Review. This is a troop of young girls that put on a high energy show of singing and dancing. The price is $20 per person. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday October 25th at 4:00 pm. After that date they will be available prior to Saturday coffee.
As of this date there are still a few tickets available for the 2024 three show packets. The cost is $60 per packet. Call 239-543-7129 if you are interested. Information on the packets can be found on the lakefairwayshoa.com website.

September is here and some of our northern neighbors are starting to make plans for their annual trip to Lake Fairways.
The first event for the Entertainment Committee will be the annual Halloween dance on October 28th. Tickets will first be sold to Lake Fairways residents on Wednesday October 11th at 4:00pm. The price is $20 per person which includes the usual beverages, music by Tammy Truitt, and prizes for the best original costumes. After October 11th, tickets can be purchased prior to Saturday coffee.
A new event for this season will be a St Patrick’s Day shows instead of a dance. We are working to find a caterer to prepare the usual Irish dinner. This event is separate from our season tickets.

The Entertainment Committee wants to thank all the residents for a fantastic season. Sorry we could not have the annual pool party, but we could not rely on the pool being open.
We are giving the North Fort Myers Fire Department $2,500 raised by our 50/50 give back program.

In March 2024 in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, we are planning to have a dinner show instead of a dance. We have already hired a Irish singer and dancer. We are working on getting a caterer to make this festive dinner show for all. More information as contracts are signed.

It’s hard to believe that our 2023 season shows have already past.
Both of the February shows were complete sell outs. Maryellen Hooper and Sid Davis had the room filled with laughter, The Edward’s Twins always put on a fantastic show with their impersonations of popular singers. A true Vegas show.
The 2024 lottery season ticket sale went well, thanks to the hard work from the committee members. If you were unable to attend the sale, we do have some tickets still available. Call 239-543-7129 if you are interested in purchasing tickets.
Our annual St Patrick’s Day events will be a dance only . We had no luck finding a caterer for this event. All stated not able due to staffing. The dance will be held Saturday March 18th. Music will be provided by Tammy Truitt.
Tickets will go on sale in the clubhouse on Wednesday, March 1st from 4:30 pm to 5:30pm for Lake Fairways residents only. The price is $15 per person. After March 1st, tickets may be purchased prior to Saturday coffee on March 4th,11th and 18th.
For reasons, we have cancelled our pool party.
Now that October and hurricane Ian are behind us, I hope we can bring some good times back to our lives.
Our November 19th show is being changed. Jimmy Travis is unable to travel due to eye surgery. We have booked Rick Starr, comedian and singer Kim Jenkins.
Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, November 2nd at 4:30 pm for Lake Fairway’s residents. After that, tickets will be available at Saturday coffee. The cost is $20 per person and beverages will be provided.
The Share of the Wealth recipient this year is North Fort Myers Fire Department. We’ve invited guests from the North Fort Myers Fire Department to join us.
December’s Christmas show will be the Atlantic City Boys. They sing all the usual Jersey hits and your Christmas favorites with a Jersey twist.

Starting in November the committee will be attending entertainment showcases throughout Florida to book shows for the 2023 - 2024 season. We will pass along the information as soon as possible.

Our December 10th Christmas show be the Atlantic City Boys. There will be the usual Jersey Boys hits mixed with Christmas songs sung with a Jersey twist.
Our 50/50 charity this season will be the North Fort Myers fire department. The money collected will go towards the purchase of personal voltage and current detectors that will be worn by the firefighters.
